The adoption rate of textile standards ranks first, and the basic standards are in line with international standards. According to statistics from relevant national departments, the domestic average adoption rate for international standards is about 44%, while the adoption rate for textiles is 80%. There are over 280 standards related to textiles and clothing in ISO. The textile industry has conducted research on these international standards and has adopted or included them in annual adoption plans to varying degrees. In addition to adopting international standards, advanced foreign countries' standards such as American standards, British standards, German standards, and Japanese standards have also been adopted to varying degrees. In line with the development of the textile industry, China's textile standardization work has been continuously improved and enhanced, achieving significant results. Textile standardization has made due contributions to meet the needs of the country's economic construction and the development of the textile industry. Manifested in

1.The standards for textile materials, finished products, and clothing have formed a system and scale. As of the end of 2002, there were a total of 885 textile and clothing standards (excluding fiber raw material standards), including 383 national standards and 502 textile industry standards, forming a textile standard system with product standards as the main body and basic standards supporting it. It includes four categories: terminology symbol standards, test method standards, material standards, and product standards, involving fiber, yarn, filament, fabric, textile products, and clothing. In terms of quantity and coverage, it basically meets the production and trade needs of textiles and clothing.

3. Various standards have played a huge role. The basic standards that are in line with international standards have played an important role in unifying the technical terminology of the textile industry, unifying the testing methods of textile materials and products, and standardizing the performance indicators of products. Especially based on these testing methods, the data obtained not only has comparability nationwide, but also has been recognized by foreign customers, playing an undeniable role in textile trade. The large number of textile product standards formulated have adapted to the development and needs of products, solved the problem of non-standard production, and provided technical basis for the entry of a large number of products into the market by enterprises.

4. The standardization concept of enterprises plays a key role in improving product quality. Since the implementation of the Standardization Law in 1989, the standardization work of enterprises has gradually strengthened, and the enthusiasm for participating in standardization has been increasing.
